Professionals from eBay, Unilever and half a dozen other organizations gathered to learn more about advocacy this week at a full-day seminar sponsored by CQ Roll Call and the Goddard Gunster Institute.
The case-based seminar addressed how to successfully run a modern advocacy campaign, from research and coalition building to messaging and media. Speakers addressed the current advocacy climate and the tactics often used in successful campaigns.
“This was really helpful and I think I’ll be able to apply the things I learned to my work,” wrote one attendee in an evaluation.
